What about costs to acquire clients, employee payroll, vacations, LayerOnline health care, liability insurance, taxes, bandwidth overage charges and google drive so on? Have you checked recently what it costs to bid on keywords with Google Adwords? Being conservative, this could drive that cost to $500 or higher.

The cloud also offers you protection and LayerOnline security, so no matter where you are or whatever device you are on whether it is a laptop, iPad or anything other device that has internet capabilities, you can be sure to have access to your files and unlimited storage data.

I immediately did another download of my bank transactions. There they were, along with transactions reversing the charges. They turned out to be fraudulent and the bank removed the charges from my account. I have also been called by my bank asking about charges made to my credit card. I did not see these fraudulent charges. My bank had detected and LayerOnline responded very quickly to these illegitimate activities. What was interesting is that I had just downloaded my most recent bank transactions into Quicken.  
  
I'm sure they will come in time. In the meantime you should be able to save 1,000 on hosting some part of your IT service - backup or email being the most likely in the short term. Some claim massive savings of 20% to 40% of your entire IT budget for Cloud Computing, but I've yet to see those massive savings myself.  
  
It is free right now but they have plans to make it a paid service at some point. Google documents is like having another hard drive on your computer. All you have to do to use it is open up the web page and drag and drop files right into the folders there that are already set up for Unlimited Cloud Storage you. They also have a shared option so your friends or co-workers can access and work on files. Maybe you are already familiar with Google documents.  
  
The phone then syncs with the public calendars on Google. The Google thing client will then ignore those items. The Google sync client recognizes when another sync client adds or changes your calendar. It only has an effect when the appointment is entered on both Google and Outlook, then whoever the phone syncs with first becomes the master. Minor but important none the less. This isn't 100% yet either. The solution appeared easy enough, let the phone sync to Google and leave the Blackberry desktop to sync with the Outlook e-mail and LayerOnline Calendar on computers to the phone. The flaw we have found at this point turned out to be related to the Blackberry desktop manager. If the appointment changes and it isn't made to the master, then the phone won't get the change.  
  
If you don't need calendar sharing with more than your partner, assistant and home, this is a no brain-er. I think the limit is 50 per office. Overall, the Google calendar system has been a major improvement for LayerOnline our small business, and solved most of the problems we had with both the Microsoft exchange server and Blackberry services. The best part is since we have less than 5 people that need to share each other calendar in a group, it is all for free.  
  
Also save it to your laptop's internal hard drive, and to your flash drive. If you are away from your home/business computer, and LayerOnline using your laptop, email yourself the document that you are working on. We keep several flash drives with us when on vacation - and LayerOnline keep them in our pockets for safe-keeping. Flash drives are very inexpensive - so buy and use several. A good general rule is that you should never keep extremely sensitive data on your laptop. Keep it on your flash drive and on the cloud. We purchased 3 brand-name 8GB flash dives for under $20.  
  
It is also helpful in insuring you have access to documents and files no matter where you are physically. The 'cloud' is just a term for the Internet system of connected computers. This can be a big help in increasing the capacity of your storage and not having to save all this to your local drive. In other words a document stored in the cloud can be accessed from work, google drive home, unlimited storage school, google drive or from a vacation spot anywhere on Earth. Once you are attached to the cloud you have access to an enormous amount of resources around the world.  
  
A cloud backup system is the most secure and safest being that your data is transferred and stored to off-line servers where hackers have no chance of breaking into your files. Unless you keep hard copies of the entire business, which nobody does, you'll never get it back.
