For those unaware, TIGA is a network for game developers, and digital publishers, and are a non-profit trade association representing the video game industry. The charity partner at this year's TIGA Games Industry Awards 2018 was SpecialEffect, a charity dedicated to creating methods for disabled gamers to play their favorite titles. I’ve played plenty of Sea of Thieves and never have I met a single cheater. When it comes to Rare’s pirate title, cheaters are those elusive mythical beasts that we have all heard of, but no one has ever met. Sure, Rare did acknowledge that some people did manage to cheat at some point, but they were swiftly dealt with and this will continue to be the case in the future. Commendation achievements also double as Pirate Titles, and are unlocked when certain deeds are done within the game, such as completed a certain number of voyages or earning a particular amount of gold. If you remember sailing along a vast and empty The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker -style ocean in the early days, you’ll be glad for any new area, but this is just on a whole new level.
