Nightfalls are also a fantastic way to farm Exotic armor and Masterwork materials, especially if there is a double loot week active. If you do not own the Beyond Light expansion, this will be your best means of farming Exotic gear. The higher the Nightfall difficulty, the more likely an Exotic will drop. If you're playing on Grandmaster difficulty , you'll always get an Exotic armor piece on a Platinum clear. It's unclear when or if they'll move on to a Destiny 3, but for the time being the game has a solid audience of hardcore gamers who come back often. For those players, it's good to know which exotic weapons are both obtainable and worthwhile in the free-to-play portions of Destiny  
Igneous Hammer is a Legendary 120 RPM Aggressive Frame Energy Hand Cannon that hits opponents hard with high accuracy. Igneous Hammer is the choice Hand Cannon in Destiny 2 for many players in PvP, particularly for Trials of Osiris. Although this type of Hand Cannon received a PvP nerf at the beginning of Season of the Lost , it remains a solid choice in these game modes. Additionally, the Igneous Hand Cannon is a weapon that can only be earned as a reward from the Trials of Osiris, and the Adept Igneous Hammer can be earned on certain weeks by getting a Flawless pass  
Crucible's Valor Ranks are the easiest to increase out of the three ritual playlists . The Palindrome is a 140 RPM Adaptive Frame Energy Hand Cannon that is incredibly lethal and easy to use at the same time. This is the weapon all players should seek to grab if they're looking for a better PvP 140 RPM Energy Hand Cannon. Palindrome comes with many great perks and can only be received as a reward from Destiny 2's Nightfall missions during certain weeks. Master Nightfalls are much easier than GMs, their Power Level being set to that season's Power Level hard cap. Master Nightfalls also have a wide range of modifiers, notable ones being Match Game and the Champion types you'll be facing. Find a team, coordinate your loadouts , and prepare to grind out these missions. As long as you are at the recommended Power Level, Master Nightfalls shouldn't pose much of a thr  
Weekly Challenges —turning in eight bounties, completing core activities, et cetera—have a small chance of granting an Exotic when completed. While this isn't consistent nor a repeatable farm, this gives casual players a decent chance to obtain an Exotic they don't

While Hand Cannons don't have any perks that come with the Season of the Lost artifact , they are still some of the best weapons players can choose to use in PvP.
