About Me

Sea of Thieves has released online and has passed its first 48 hours of life milestone but not without its challenges. Thanks to this latest project from developer Rare being one of the most anticipated games of 2018 - and Microsoft helping boost player counts by making it available as part of their Game Pass subscription plan - there's an overwhelming amount of interest. So much so, that Sea of Thieves as not been working as intended to say the l
Sea of Thieves' first major free content expansion has just become available. Titled The Hungering Deep , this first of three summer updates for Sea of Thieves adds a few new systems and content pieces and is headlined by a limited time event which includes a few event-exclusive rewa
While connection issues were high on Rare’s to-do list for Sea of Thieves , smaller problems have had to be put on the back burner. In fact, Rare has even had to disable some features in the game, like achievements, Https://Strategyreviewer.com for the time be
Make sure everyone has the drum and tattoo equipped (can equip tattoo at the chest by Merrick) and wait for another ship to arrive here, doing the same limited time quest, and once five players are here all playing the tune, the tattoos will g
Unsurprisingly, it's starting to look like Rare might feel the same way. Sea of Thieves ' first Bilge Rat Adventure, the Skeleton Thrones, will be ending on June 26. Another event is expected to pick up the same day, though Rare has yet to announce what it may be. Rare will have every opportunity to launch a Banjo-Kazooie event in Sea of Thieves , so long as they've planned ahead and laid out preparations. And at this point, most Sea of Thieves players will say, "A
Rare is well known for slipping Easter eggs into their games and Sea of Thieves is extreme in this regard. But now some of those Easter Eggs seem more like event foreshadowing. Several references to Banjo-Kazooie lie hidden among the islands of Sea of Thieves , but one island in particular is now drawing attention. On Plunder island, several references to Banjo-Kazooie are found -- a painting of a series of feathers, references to a Phoenix, giant statues of birds, and most important of all, a large painting of a very big bear with a red bird flying overh
At E3 this year, Rare dropped a brand new trailer, showcasing two of its upcoming updates - Cursed Sails, which landed recently, and Forsaken Shores, which the team is preparing for September. With that, one major feature, which lots of people expected to make it into the game much sooner, got confirmed by the trailer and Rare’s employees in the next few days. And with Cursed Sails we got skeleton ships roaming the Sea of Thieves , and this is what the update is all about. If you ask me, this is a good reason for you to get back on the deck and prepare for some pirat
As for bugs like inventory items not showing up in the radial menus, that still can happen often enough that you may have to rejoin a game to fix. Missing gold, reputation levels, and achievements however seem to be just delayed - meaning Rare doesn't think you're actually losing any of that. It just may take a while to show up, or will show up next time you get into a g
The good news, though, is that Rare is still tracking player’s progress on Sea of Thieves achievements, so when they are re-enabled the achievements completed should unlock. Granted, Rare also said that players should receive all of their missing gold and reputation once things calmed down with the servers, and many reported not receiving everything they earned. In other words, don’t be surprised if some achievement progress is not entirely accurate once everything is re-enab
Head to Dagger Tooth Outpost and ask Teri about drunken pirates. She gives a few location hints: "fishy lil cave," "underr the golden arch," and "uncharted place wessht o’ Shark Tooth Key- he sshaid there’sh a rock nearby ‘looks jussht like hish enemy" which points to Shark Tooth Key (U-15) and if you go west you can find a barely visible uncharted island at S
Where to go next is the most difficult riddle of The Hungering Deep. The coordinates of where to summon the shark come from everything said and read so far. The "infernal ridge" hint refers to Devil's Ridge (U-24) and "don’t get too close to the Shroud!" refers to the border of the map, leading to the dead red sea. To find the exact map coordinates, note that the names of all of Merrick's loves begin with "T" and note the journal numbers which add up to "26." B
Scars and tattoos can now be added to player avatars to further make pirates more unique, there's a new flag system for ships, and even a brand new instrument (a drum!) needed to summon the mighty megalodon shark. But first, the quest itself! How does a pirate and their crew start The Hungering Deep's limited time event, Merrick's Quest ? And how do we get the drums?! Allow us to explain, in det
This update and how transparent and honest it is great. It's the right step, and an important one we hope Rare does very frequently. Being open and addressing feedback and constructive criticisms is one of the important keys to success for online games with passionate communities - and those devs who don't communicate or offer game updates quickly are the ones that turn advocates of the game into haters. We see it all the time among some of the other popular games online - especially the ones that streamers are actively play
