This update and how transparent and honest it is great. It's the right step, and an important one we hope Rare does very frequently. Being open and addressing feedback and constructive criticisms is one of the important keys to success for online games with passionate communities - and those devs who don't communicate or offer game updates quickly are the ones that turn advocates of the game into haters. We see it all the time among some of the other popular games online - especially the ones that streamers are actively play  
Nonetheless, it's unlikely that Prod1gyX will be seen as the true Legend of the game any time soon. At the very least, players may find solace in the fact that the streamer was able to explain a little more of what's available once the rank of Pirate Legend is gained. As it turns out, not only does the player get a set of nifty gear and a nice new hideout after solving a quick riddle, but they then have a new faction called Athena's Fortune that has its own set of legendary voyages. It may not be anything entirely new, but at least it's something extra that takes away from the need to earn gold qui  
Sea of Thieves lets players suit up as a pirate and embark on high seas adventures in a quest for treasure! But no loot comes without risk of combat. While other pirate crews are the most unpredictable and certainly, have the potential to be the most dangerous, the in-game AI enemies can pose their own problems  
This has resulted in something of a backlash, causing some serious arguments over on the Sea of Thieves Reddit and even a Twitter hashtag of #NotMyPirateLegend . It's certainly understandable why some are angry about the first Pirate Legend, particularly given the prestige of the status itself and exactly how time consuming it is to reach the rank. However, there's something a little poetic about someone cheating their way to the top spot in a game revolving around pirates - after all, the game is called Sea of Thiev

Since its reveal at E3 2015, Sea of Thieves promised players an open and dynamic world to live out pirate fantasies of treasure hunting, drinking, and ship battling. The recent closed beta test gave fans a small taste of what to expect, though many were looking for more things to do in the world outside of sailing and finding treasure. We noted in our first impressions of Sea of Thieves that the server issues are a problem all too common in online games and one that after all these years shouldn't still happen, but it does. So please be prepared going in that there may be difficulties joining with others in a crew, and that it's possible to lose connection while playing, and with it, your loot that you've yet to redeem at an outpost. This can be infuriating but it's part of the growing pains and reality of this game at the mom  
All of the issues that are common and raised online in the forums, Discord, and Sea of Thieves Subreddit are things the developers are seeing and noting as well. Hopefully, this up update address the obvious concerns and quells some of the brewing negativity online. It's been such a problem that even the downvote option was seemingly removed from the Sea of Thieves pWhen Sea of Thieves clicks, most likely because you have a full galleon of fellow pirates to work with, it can create a rousing, fun experience whether completing a long voyage for the Gold Hoarders or even just sailing around, looking for any hidden secrets or loot. But remove that and becomes clear that you have a game with little in the way or content or variety. It's still decent, of course, but it's nothing to write home about without a group. There are probably several more depth-related puns to be made, but let's just say that to get the most out of things, you had best work out something with some friends or fellow players to create a devoted crew, lest things get shallow quickly.  
For all skeleton encounters, take out the ranged ones first (and focus on skeletons manning cannons if your own ship is within firing range).
