About Me

In the words of Teddy Roosevelt, "speak softly and carry a big stick; and you will go far." While that quote references a broader view of global geopolitics and foreign policy, it's literal form uniquely encapsulates the Destined One's intimate journey. Your staff is your best friend and will see you through the most grueling fights in Black Myth: Wukong . While spells and spirits can aid you in conflict, it'll be the repeated blows and strategic strikes with your staff that'll bring down the toughest combatants.
While most of the armor sets in Black Myth: Wukong can be equipped purely for the defence bonus, some are better if you are looking for a specific playstyle to be complimented. The best example of this is the one-piece Yin Yang Daoist REach stance has its own skill tree complete with unique talents and skills that offer both active and passive abilities to enhance combat. Gain sparks to upgrade these trees through various means such as combat, exploring, finding meditation spots , etc. The skills available to unlock for each staff stance skill tree are summarized below:
While some sets add some risk by having a potentially dangerous buff, some instead just reward using a slightly more unconventional playstyle. No set encapsulates this more than the Centipede Qiang-Jin Armor
Spells are an exciting part of combat in **Black Myth: Wukong ** , but it's not possible to equip every spell available in the game at once. In combat, Black Myth: Wukong provides four spell slots, and each of the seven spells is designated for one of these four destinations. After getting deep enough into the game, there's always a choice about which option to have available in each slot, and the decision can be tricky thanks to how unique the perks can
While in the early chapters of Black Myth: Wukong, you might assume that getting new content from Wukongchronicle weapons is a pretty linear process, but the more involved you get in the side content and hidden missions, the more options and variety you'll get for your weapons. So, with so many different options for weapons, which are the ones you'll want to keep equipped for the tough bosses Wukong throws at
More often than not, you'll get new weapons by upgrading a weaker one, compared to making a new one from scratch. More confusingly, there are some weapons that branch into different paths with similar but still different stats and buThe only weapon type available in Black Myth: Wukong is the staff. However, you can obtain more potent staves, some with unique passive effects, that'll help you with progression in the game's largely linear questline. Some staves can simply be upgraded with the right materials. Other times, rare weapons or materials for crafting weapons can be obtained through secret side questlines such as the case of collecting Buddha's eyes from statues in Chapter 2 .
Another fantastic three-piece armor set to keep an eye out for is the Loongscale set. There are certain sets of armor that are perfect for taking on specific bosses or particular areas of the map that will inflict different ba
Considering how long it can take to run through some of the chapters in Black Myth: Wukong , Somersault Cloud comes as a relief when it does appear. The late appearance and lack of upgrades certainly feel limiting, however, especially considering that it's not possible to go back to earlier chapters and speed around with Somersault Cloud. From a design standpoint, it makes sense that the spell is restricted, but it does stop short of being quite as exciting as it could
Wukong originates from Journey to the West , a Chinese novel from the 16th century. In it, a Buddhist monk (called Tang Monk in the game) needs to search for several Buddhist scriptures. He is aided by three protectors , Wukong among t
The protectors of the Tang Monk are not aiding him for the good of the cause, but to atone for their sins. Wukong specifically was a troublemaker who, while not often meaning to do harm, gets into all sorts of trouble due to his temperam
If you only have two pieces on, you'll get the straightforward (but still useful) bonus damage on Pillar Stance attacks, but if you have the whole set, you're going to get an increase for all damage dealt, but also take more damage too. This is great if you're confident in your dodging ability, but if not, you're going to be spending a lot more time healing than us
It's hard to rely on A Pluck of Many quite as much as the very best Black Myth: Wukong spells, however. It requires a much more significant chunk of mana than the alternatives , so choosing to use depletes resources at a terrifying speed in long boss fights. Past the game's earlier challenges, making A Pluck of Many a core part of the Destined One's moveset generally means investing heavily in its upgrade path will be necessary, and even then, risking its slightly long casting time can be sc
