GMA Network, a Philippine free-to-air radio and television station, is the main product of GMA Media, Inc. The first broadcast took place on the 29th of October in 1961. It is referred to as the Kapuso Network, after the outline of its logo. The logo is shaped like the shape of a fish. While the GMA Network has been around for more than 50 years, it has only been recently that it has been given an entirely new name.  
In 2010 the network launched new shows and soaps. In the first quarter of 2010, the network aired Te Amo, Maging Sino Ka Man, Hanggang Kailan, and Zorro. The new programs were released during the fourth and fifth quarters. They included The Real World and Love Is a Two-Way Street. GMA has launched a number of dramas during the fourth quarter of 2010. This included the cult 'Misfits series, Sex and Relationships' and 'The Real World.  
GMA's new logo was launched during the first quarter of of 2000. GMA's new logo features a heart with a rainbow-colored rainbow as well as the slogan "One in Heart With The Filipino Family" across the top. The slogan for the network is "One in Heart with the Filipino Family," and the name is a combination of a sexually sexy rainbow and a Latin arrow. It features Regine Velasquez's signature song as well as Century Gothic Bold font. At the same time the network announced its decision to retire from the post of president and 24 Oras January 15, 2022 CEO, and also appointed Felipe Gozon to the position. He was also chairman. Gilberto Duavit, Jr. was appointed chief operating officer.  
In the 1990s, GMA also changed the logo in the 1990s. GMA Network introduced a new slogan in 1994: "One in Heart with the Filipino Family in All Colors of Life" and changed to a heart-shaped, rainbow-colored logo. In 2004, 24 Oras the GMA Network changed its corporate name as GMA Network Inc. It also released a variety of soaps and programs. A number of new shows were introduced in the fourth and fifth quarters.  
GMA Network launched a variety of new soaps and shows during the first quarter of 2010. It also introduced a new drama called "Ikaw Sa Puso Ko" in the third quarter of 2009. The GMA Group was the sole local network that broadcast continuously until 2001 when transmitters were needed to be repaired. Menardo Jimenez announced his retirement as CEO and president of the GMA Group.  
GMA Network has had a colorful logo since its inception. The GMA logo depicts a heart in a rainbow of shades. The GMA slogan "One in Heart with the Filipino Family" is written in Century Gothic Bold font. The slogan is designed to create a sense of community. The new logo was also unveiled with a new series on the same channel. New shows were also announced by the GMA for primetime. These include StarStruck Kids, Marinara, and Lovely Day.  
Since 2001, the GMA Network has produced new soaps and TV shows. This year has been an extremely enjoyable year for the channel. It has introduced a number of new soaps and series. It's been a thrilling year for the Philippines. As a result, the network has grown to become one of the biggest Asian television networks. Its programming is massive and It's Showtime generates huge revenues from viewers both international and local. There are several more programming in 2010.  
GMA has launched a variety of new primetime shows in the past few years. Its most popular shows include "Te, Amo, Hanggang Kailan", "Forever in My Heart," and "Lovely Day." Reruns of TV shows as well as movies are also available through the channel. The shows are also available on the GMA Network website.
