Fortnite Chapter 2 ended with the Cube Queen opening up an Avengers -like portal to space which brought about UFOs from previous seasons. As the Cube Queen unleashed chaos with aliens, Sideways monsters, and cubes, the players, also known as "loopers" in the cinematics, were saved by Jonesy and the Foundation, who was revealed to be played by actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson . At the end of the cinematic, the bunker the players have to hunker down in is flooded, causing everyone to rush out into the open ocean and witness a cinematically beautiful shot of the island being flipped upside down. As the player is stranded at sea, the portal to space closes, leaving a couple of UFOs behind, and the Cube Queen is defeated, revealing the new map as the other side of the isl
